  1. All excellent things to remember. #7 and #8 have a greater return on investment than may be anticipated. Glad to hear a husband’s voice encouraging strong marriage.

  2. #6 is a gift to the giver and the recipient too. It’s amazing how often we forget that showing love is part of our own happiness. I’m guilty of forgetting just how integral it is to “express” more than to expect. Great post!

  3. These are great reminders of how to keep the fire going in a marriage. My husband and I could imorove in a few of these. Especially spending time without the kid.

  4. I read a great quote that reminded me of this- if you want something different you need to treat it differently. We just went out without the kids today, which doesn’t happen often enough but it is definitely important!

  5. Great suggestions. I think finances are the hardest part of any relationship. I’ve been married for almost 25 years and for me, support is the big one. It isn’t always easy to compromise and find way to work through different ideas, personalities, ideals, etc. 😉

  6. Your post is wonderful. Great suggestions for a marriage. The hardest part for me is finances .. ugh that all mighty dollar is the devil. Thanks for sharing
