My 5 Favorite Christmas Movies

My 5 Favorite Christmas Movies

1. A Christmas Story

“You’ll shoot your eye out, kid!”  For me, it doesn’t get any better than the annual viewing of “A #Christmas Story.”  It’s been a holiday tradition to watch this movie several times during the #Christmas season since I was a kid. You can usually find this movie in a 24 hour marathon starting on #Christmas Eve.  If you’ve never seen this movie, I might just say “oh fudge!”

2. Home Alone

“Leave it on the door step and get the hell outta here!” It’s simply not acceptable to not have ever seen this movie – especially during the #Christmas season.  I saw this movie when it hit the theaters and now have the joy of watching it again with my kids.  My younger brother and I set traps in our house for months after we saw it.  It never gets old seeing the two burglars take a beating through Kevin’s fun house.

3. Christmas With The Kranks

“What happened to the hickory honey ham?”  Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis are a hilarious duo in this movie about skipping #Christmas to take a luxury cruise.  The kids love this movie just about as much as the adults do. It’s become a family tradition to watch this movie every year.

4. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation

“Can I refill your eggnog? Get you something to eat, drive you into the middle of nowhere, and leave you for dead?” The Griswolds always make me laugh.  Another must watch every #Christmas season!

5. Elf

“I am a cotton-headed ninnymoggins!” I am such a big Will Ferrell fan.  All of his movies are so incredibly stupid that they are so funny.  If you haven’t seen Elf make it a point to laugh your head off this holiday season.  He’s so annoying in this movie you can’t help but laugh.

Thanks to Geeks & Lattes for giving me the idea to post about my favorite #Christmas Movies!
